Abstract
This book review provides commentary on Creating a Sense of Belonging for Immigrant and Refugee Students: Strategies for K-12 Educators by Mandy Manning, Ivonne Orozco Sahi, Leah Juelke, and Sarahi Monterrey. A description of the text's socio-emotional and academic recommendations is summarized. In addition, this book review provides a brief critique of the text. Reading this book review, and eventually reading the book itself, is recommended for educators who work with emergent bilingual, refugee, and immigrant students in K-12 settings.
