Themed Guest Edited Issues of NYSTJ


NYS TESOL Journal  (NYSTJ) is happy to announce the results of the open call for submissions for a special, themed, and guest edited issue. The Editorial Board has selected and scheduled the following two special issues (separate calls will be run for each theme; please check our web page in 2021 and 2022 for special calls):



August 2021: Volume 8, Issue 2: "Reshaping ESOL Together: Addressing and Advancing Issues of Policy and Practice?"
Guest editors: Mike Chick, Becca Reed, Lesley Painter-Farrell, Rob Sheppard, and Pauline Blake-Johnson.
Call opens: August 15, 2020
Call closes: February 15, 2021
Publication date: August 1, 2021


August 2022: Volume 9, Issue 2: “Co-teaching and teacher collaboration among ESOL and Content-area teachers for English language learners”
Guest editors: Clara Bauler, Laura Baecher, and Emily Kang.
Call opens: August 15, 2021
Call closes: February 15, 2022
